JULIE BRANDT = My Kinda Style
I am always on the lookout for contemporary & cool looking designs for women. JULIE BRANDT is a brand that satisfies this and more.
It only took one visit to their site and I was hooked! It's clean, sleek and their lookbook is styled in a way that speaks sophistication, is edgy and feminine at the same time.
I'm in my late 30's and would rock a JULIE BRANDT piece with ease:)

City Fox: A Fashion Project
Style & Conscience is a socially conscious clothing and accessories line operated by Montreal Couture, (a non-profit organization) with a mission to implement projects that address issues related to local production of garments in Montreal (and the province of Quebec).
Back in the day, Montreal's garment district used to be a thriving neighbourhood where designers, manufacturers and warehouses created fashions for markets all across Canada & the US. Unfortunately, due to the increase in "fast fashion" (garments made cheap to last only a season), Montreal's garment industry is not quite the same anymore.
To help change things, Style & Conscience has created City Fox; a stylish set of fur boot cuffs that can be adjusted to fit any boot or can be linked together and worn over your shoulders. It was primarily designed as an experiment that asks the question, can high-fashion be produced in a affordable and sustainable way?
Well, to support the community, Style & Conscience plans to pay a "fair paying" wage to Montrealers who make these pieces. And to cut the cost of warehousing, they'll make enough to satisfy the demand.
By using Kickstarter, they're able to make only as many as necessary to fulfill their orders. If they don't get enough orders to make it worthwhile, then nobody loses. However, if there is enough of a demand, then everyone wins! (Especially since there won't be any unwanted inventory sitting on store shelves or filling up in dumpsters).
To help make this project a reality, they need to raise $5000.00 over a 30 day period. The campaign is already in full swing with only 9 days left to go! They've got 36 backers already and have raised $1589.00
If you'd like to donate to the cause with as little as $1 or as much as you'd like, all you need to do is visit their campaign page on Kickstarter by clicking HERE
