Holiday Gift Ideas From Friends of The Creative Mixx

We're 5 days into the month of December and I've already started to decorate my home for the Holidays.  I bought a "live" tree on Monday night (love the smell of pine), decorated it last night and now I'm ready to make a Christmas shopping list.

Tonight - Mo'Tif Christmas Market

Mo'Tif is an event showcasing a fusion of artistic mediums including photography, jewellery, innovative fashion and metal work. 

I went to the first event and was happy to see talented artists (of various disciplines) collaborating together. 

In addition to the return of Hadija Gabunga of Hipband clothing, Amy Brathwaite of Ansanm Haitian artwork and Janet Pliszka of Visual Hues Photography, 2 additional designers will be in the house, one of which is Salgado Fenwick - (They hand draw images, then silkscreen them on to sweat shop free garments).

Come out on this snowy day for the opportunity to hang with local merchants, listen to some music and enjoy the cozy atmosphere. With the holidays just around the corner, this is the perfect way to start your hunt for  unique gift ideas.
